Note: <p>This recipe is lighter than our full-strength Creme de Menthe recipe </p><p> 1 3/4 cups water</p><p> 2 cups sugar</p><p> 3 1/4 cups 100 proof vodka </p><p>1 1/2 teaspoons <a href="http://allstarextracts.com/Peppermint-Flavor" target="_blank">All Star Extracts brand Peppermint Extract</a> </p><p>½ tsp <a href="http://allstarextracts.com/Glycerine" target="_blank">All Star Extracts Glycerine</a> </p><p> green food coloring optional</p>
<p>Combine the sugar and water</p><p> Heat until the sugar dissolves (happens quickly; no need to boil it), stirring frequently to hasten the process. </p><p>Allow to cool.
Once cool, add the vodka, peppermint extract, gylcerine and green coloring.
Makes: About 5 cups
